Following The Crowd
It's important for students to not follow the crowd, especially when faced with negative or harmful behavior whether in person, or online. Standing up for what is right, even when others don't, shows true courage and integrity. The "see something, say something" principle encourages students to speak up if they witness bullying, harassment, or unsafe situations, helping to protect others and maintain a safe environment. Understanding the bystander effect, where people hesitate to act because they assume someone else will, reminds students that their voice and actions can make a difference. This session will give students the tools to act responsibly, and contribute to a safer and more supportive school community.
